Together, we are embarking on a mission to reforest Europe, one tree at a time. This collaboration connects the digital plants you care for in our community with real-world trees that will help restore our planet's ecosystems.
Who is Life Terra?
Life Terra is a foundation with a monumental goal: to facilitate the planting of 500 million trees across Europe. Their mission is to enable people and organizations to take tangible and impactful climate action. Co-financed by the European Union's LIFE programme, the initiative is built on a foundation of science and community involvement.
What sets Life Terra apart is their commitment to planting "the right tree in the right place at the right time". This ensures that every tree contributes effectively to land restoration and enhances ecosystem resilience. Their work fights climate change by:
Restoring biodiversity
Every tree planted with Life Terra is a step toward rebuilding and enriching Europe's ecosystems. These restored woodlands provide essential food, shelter, and breeding grounds for birds, insects, and mammals, strengthening the web of life and helping to reverse biodiversity loss.
Capturing CO²
Trees are our planet's natural air purifiers and a powerful tool in the fight against climate change. Through photosynthesis, they absorb carbon dioxide—a major greenhouse gas—from the atmosphere and store it in their trunks, branches, and roots.
Preventing Land Degradation
The roots of trees act as a natural anchor, binding the soil together and protecting it from being washed or blown away. This is crucial for preventing desertification, reducing the risk of landslides, and minimizing soil erosion.

With a €6 donation, Life Terra will plant a new tree, giving your plant's legacy new roots and transforming a moment of failure into an act of regeneration.
