Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Methods & Carriers

Sadplants.fun ships all orders through verified Everspring marketplace suppliers operating throughout Europe. Plants and products are carefully packaged and handed over to professional logistics carriers for delivery to your address. Tracking information is provided with every order so you can monitor your shipment in real-time.

2. Delivery Times

Standard delivery timeframes vary depending on your location within Europe:

Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden: 5-7 business days following order processing and shipment
EU/EEA Countries: 7-12 business days following order processing and shipment
Other European destinations: 10-16 business days following order processing and shipment

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. They do not include weekends, public holidays, or exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Processing time begins once payment has been received and verified.

3. Order Processing

Once your order is confirmed and payment authorized, our supplier processes and prepares your plants for shipment. Standard processing typically takes 3-5 business days. During peak seasons or high order volumes, processing may take up to 7 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.

4. Climate-Sensitive Shipping Windows

Because plants are living organisms sensitive to temperature extremes, Sadplants.fun implements climate-aware shipping holds:

Winter shipping hold (December-February): Orders may be delayed or held during extreme cold periods (below 0°C) to prevent frost damage during transit
Summer shipping hold (July-August): Orders may be delayed or held during extreme heat periods (above 35°C) to prevent heat stress during transit

If your order falls within a climate hold period, you will be notified immediately with estimated new shipping dates. You may choose to proceed, wait for safer shipping conditions, or request a refund.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on:
Your delivery location
The weight and dimensions of your order
The number of packages required
Any special handling requirements for living plants

Shipping costs are displayed before you complete your purchase. All prices include standard packaging and handling.

6. International Shipments & Customs

For shipments crossing EU borders or entering non-EU countries, customers may be subject to customs duties, VAT, taxes, or other import fees. These fees are your responsibility and are not included in our calculated shipping charges. Sadplants.fun is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges imposed by local authorities.

7. Tracking & Communication

All orders include a track and trace code. You can monitor your shipment's progress through the carrier's online tracking portal using this code. We also send you email updates at key milestones:
Order confirmed
Order shipped (with tracking number)
Out for delivery
Delivered

8. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss for your order passes to you upon receipt of the goods at your address. Once the carrier confirms delivery, Sadplants.fun's responsibility ends. If you notice damage upon receipt, document it immediately with photos and contact us within 24 hours.

9. Delivery to Addresses

We ship to all EU/EEA member states and selected European countries. Please ensure your address is complete and accurate at checkout, including:
Full street address with house number
Apartment/unit number (if applicable)
City/town
Postal code
Country

Incomplete addresses may result in delivery delays or failed deliveries.

10. Failed Deliveries & Returns to Sender

If a delivery cannot be completed (address not found, recipient unavailable, refused delivery):
The carrier will attempt redelivery or return the package to our supplier
We will contact you to arrange reshipment or provide a refund (minus original shipping costs)
Reshipment will follow normal processing and delivery timeframes

11. Liability for Shipping

Sadplants.fun is not liable for:
Delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control (force majeure)
Damage caused by carrier mishandling (document with photos and contact the carrier directly)
Theft or loss after delivery confirmation
Temperature fluctuations or weather conditions during transit (we mitigate this through climate holds)

We are liable for defective packaging that directly causes damage, which is covered under our product warranty.

12. Shipment Issues & Claims

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or not as described:

1. Document damage with clear photographs within 24 hours of receipt
2. Contact us at [info@sadplants.fun](mailto:info@sadplants.fun) with photos and your order number
3. Do not discard packaging or the product without permission
4. We will investigate and arrange replacement or refund per our Return Policy

Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery.
